E.V.O. Sicily: Polizzi among the best 20 of 2019

It is the ranking of the 20 best Sicilian oils of 2019, regardless of certifications. Not without the usual warnings: these are oils that must be used raw, do not lose them for frying, their cost is around 14 euros for half a liter.

The risk that one runs, by dint of tasting oil during the panels enjoying bitter and spicy extremes, is that of finding ourselves in the future in front of 'meditation oils', unusable in the kitchen. Our evaluation takes into account the oil as a product used in cooking, the good old oil used as a condiment, which enhances flavors and ingredients, refines dishes, 'consume' snacks and snacks and serve as a side dish.
